How We Verify
Every review and complaint goes through a structured process before any public action is taken. Transparency and fairness are the foundation of this platform.
User Submits a Review or Complaint
Any registered user with a verified email address may submit a review or complaint. Submissions are not publicly visible until reviewed by a moderator.
Moderator Review
A PIP Pain Injury moderator reviews the submission for policy compliance, factual plausibility, and completeness. Incomplete submissions may be flagged for follow-up.
Evidence Assessment
If the submitter provides supporting documents or photographs, these are reviewed. Submissions with documentation receive a "Documented" status label.
Independent Verification
For serious complaints, we cross-reference official Florida licensing board records, court records, and other public sources. Confirmed findings receive a "Verified" status.
Business Notification
Before any formal designation, the business or provider is notified and given an opportunity to respond. Responses are published alongside the complaint.
Formal Designation (if warranted)
Only after completing the above steps may PIP Pain Injury formally designate a business as Not Recommended. The designation includes the criteria met, evidence summary, and any business response.
What We Will Never Do
- Describe an allegation as a proven fact
- Fabricate criminal histories, disciplinary actions, or misconduct
- Publish private personal information or confidential medical records
- Automatically blacklist a business based solely on a single unverified complaint
- Deny a business the opportunity to respond before formal designation
